This position carries a dual responsibility for both account management and retention of an existing territory facility account base, while additionally selling the depth and scope of HealthDrive’s multi-disciplinary medical and dental contract services to current and new prospective nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role is for a true "Road Warrior" type who will consistently be on the road covering the east coast of Massachusetts.
The Regional Account Manager must have previous experience selling in a healthcare environment or nursing home company. Must have working knowledge of sales and marketing strategies. S/he must possess confidence, experience and skills to support organizational activities. This individual must have the ability to manage conflict, be a good communicator and an active listener, and possess strong decision-making skills. Must have the ability to manage a significant client base in a defined territory. Must be comfortable with driving distances between facility/sales calls.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to use office equipment such as computer, phone, fax and copier.
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally for duties related to office work
To qualify for this role the individual must have a
minimum of a Bachelor’s Degreeand/or equivalent work experience. Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a
sales or account management/client services role. Must have a valid driver’s license.
