• Entry-level Regional Healthcare Account Manager

  • Overview

    HealthDrive is currently seeking a Regional Account Manager (RAM) to serve Massachusetts and New Hampshire: Central MA, North Shore MA, and Southern, NH.


    This position carries a dual responsibility for both account management and retention of an existing territory facility account base, while additionally selling the depth and scope of HealthDrive’s multi-disciplinary medical contract services to current and new prospective nursing homes and assisted living facilities.


    HealthDrive is the national leader in delivering integrated healthcare, providing on-site dentistry, optometry, podiatry, and audiology to residents in skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities for more than 29 years.


    • Act as field liaison (face of the company) between HealthDrive and our facility customer base.
    • Adopt HealthDrive philosophy of working within team selling/servicing approach to effectively maintain, build and grow facility account base and corresponding resulting revenue.
    • With guidance of Regional Director of Operations (RDO) work to craft strategic plan toward building facility patient enrollment and recall.
    • In conjunction with direction from RDO, identify prospective area opportunities for new homes based on our ability to successfully service area and prospective contracts with adequate discipline-specific provider coverage.
    • Strive to add additional clinical contracts in facilities currently receiving HealthDrive services. 
    • Identify opportunities to leverage relationships in one facility to other facilities in chain or multi-facility system.
    • Initiate daily communication with Regional Team Manager to discuss and timely resolve identifiable nursing home, family, and provider issues/concerns.
    • Educate nursing home admission personnel relative to HealthDrive service program.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all facility decision makers including Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Worker, Business Office Manager and other key nursing home personnel.
    • Responsible for communicating with all appropriate facility personnel to enhance provider schedule.
    • Offer and introduce facility census audits to assist in identifying current patients enrolled for service(s) and possibly identify qualified residents in an effort to improve provider productivity.
    • Attendance at local and regional state association meeting, trade shows and conferences. 
    • Manage facility mailing to responsible parties.
    • Present quality assurance reports to facility administration.
    • Promote HealthDrive by periodically attending nursing home sponsored “family nights” at the request of our facility partners.
    • Attend quarterly facility Quality Assurance meetings where appropriate and necessary.
    • Conduct facility in services and other educational presentations as needed.
    • Maintain and manage current territory database of existing and prospective nursing home facilities in region.
    • Complete and timely respond to management with required paperwork and reports, including Weekly Report Summary and Prospect Tracker.
    • Other duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate or necessary.


    Must have working knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.  S/he must possess confidence, experience and skills to support organizational activities.  This individual must have the ability to manage conflict, be a good communicator and an active listener, and possess strong decision-making skills.  Must have the ability to manage a significant client base in a defined territory.  Must be comfortable with driving LONG distances between facility/sales calls.  Nursing home knowledge / experience is desired.


    Ability to sit for long periods of time.

    Ability to use office equipment such as computer, phone, fax and copier.


    To qualify for this role the individual must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.   Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales or account management/client services role.  Must have a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.
